I'm here...

After 35 hours air-side, I'm finally here in Cairns. It's hot. 30 degrees celcius. So the BbSummit Australasia conference starts with a drinks reception tomorrow. But for now while I work on a few other things, I'm attaching the obligatory view from the room. I'm seventh floor in the Sebel Cairns Hotel. (And I was disappointed by the ease at which I got through immigration and quarantine at Sydney Airport - none of the chaotic scenes, queues, and detector dogs jumping on peoples' possessions at the luggage carousels you see on Nothing to Declare).
